Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald introduced that Jayme was located Thursday afternoon. A suspect was taken into custody shortly after, Fitzgerald mentioned. 

When requested how she feels about what occurred now that she’s had a while to course of it, Nutter choked up a bit.

“I’m simply so glad that she’s protected,” the retired social employee mentioned.

Nutter nonetheless works as an advisor to the College of Wisconsin-Madison’s social work program. She and her husband reside south of Eau Claire and have a cabin exterior of Gordon. They arrived at their cabin Thursday to get away for a couple of days.

She mentioned she’s grateful her canine, Henry – who she described as a goofy golden retriever – wished to go for a stroll.
